The Canada – US Business Association has provided leadership and foresight for the Canadian and American business communities since 1992, so when they were in need of a fresh logo and web design about a month ago, DMG couldn’t be happier to work with them!
First we tackled the logo. We recognized that their old logo needed to be refreshed and brought to life with a stronger presence. With a strategic direction and vision, we kept a similar color scheme, changed the font type and incorporated an international feel with “flag-like” shapes.
When it came to the web design, the biggest need for the CUSBA members was the ability to easily update the site on a regular basis. We decided that implementing a clean and user-friendly custom WordPress design would be the best way to achieve this goal. The site features include easy ways to update events, news/media, videos and galleries to ensure their members are informed and up to date.
The online membership subscription process was implemented by Douglas Marketing Group and is being processed and handled by PayPal. The online membership process makes becoming a CUSBA member quick, easy and efficient for today’s “always-on-the-go” business environment. There is also an option to become a CUSBA member offline by downloading and filling out a quick and easy PDF.
As always, DMG programmed the site using clean and lightweight HTML and CSS code. We also used a very cool WordPress plugin to handle adding the events to the News/Media section automatically without any user intervention.
Working with members of the CUSBA board to develop content and decide on layout and pages was a pleasure. DMG would like to thank the CUSBA board for all their hard work on the project. We look forward to working with you in the very near future!
