New Graphic Designer joins Douglas Marketing Group in the Detroit Office

Douglas Marketing Group (DMG), an international marketing and communications firm with a 25-year+ history of award-winning creative initiatives for BtoB and BtoC clients, is pleased to announce that Julia Lasak, a recent graduate from Wayne State University, has joined the firm as Junior Graphic Designer.

Julia’s passion for graphic design began after taking a visual imaging and print course in high school and ever since then, Julia has been creating a positive impact on the design community in Detroit, Michigan. She founded and became President of the AIGA (American Institute of Graphic Arts) Student Chapter and the Warrior Entrepreneur and Innovators Student Organization (WEI) at Wayne State University in 2019 which lead her to a board position as Secretary for AIGA Detroit. She also previously worked as a graphic assistant on campus at the Dean of Students Office while taking classes full-time. In Julia’s spare time, she enjoys traveling with her fiancé and spending time with her friends and family. Julia is thankful to be a part of the Detroit team and is excited for the opportunities ahead at DMG.
