This became a mandate for the company, fueled by Kay Douglas’ determination to disprove the idea that
mixing art and advertising would not work.
The art of marketing at DMG has inspired the creation of brilliant campaigns with results-driven outcomes
that the world has never seen before. Art and relationship-based marketing are at the core of the DMG
DNA and the results have proven successful for the clients we serve.
DMG began as a home-based business. Within 6 months, Kay was hanging a sign on a storefront in Windsor.
The award-winning “The Dream Weaver” campaign was successfully developed for the Windsor Regional Cancer Centre. The project included 72 original weaving art pieces and a permanently encased art piece for the Centre.
Operations expanded to the Michigan market, allowing DMG to gain an international perspective and develop stronger cross border strategies.
Trademarked Sense-sational.com, a regional program for packaging local features and like-minded businesses. Launched the “Yours for the Dreaming” book and program, integrating the firm’s 6 step creative process with educational programs.
DMG used the downturn of the recession to expand development of the Big Picture Landscape®, a visual marketing plan that we apply to marketing strategies. Research and development within our online services created a department that generates client and DMG growth, regionally and internationally.
Company growth contributed to successful, results-driven campaigns. The DMG Big Picture Landscape® Services department developed proprietary software for the development of online tools and resources for marketing plans.
Continuous development of programs created in the Big Picture Landscape® software. We introduced client use of the software for management of campaigns, budgets and return on investment. New hires strengthened the DMG team.
